What is NEET/NEET-UG?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, also known as NEET-UG, will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 3, 2020. Along with the exam date, NTA has also announced NEET 2020 important dates related to registration, admit card and result. NEET 2020 application form and authorization notification will be released on December 2, 2019. The last date to register for the NEET exam is December 31, 2019.
Through a public interview on October 4, 2019, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harshvardhan reports that admission for 1205 AIIMS and 200 JIPMER Undergraduate (MBBS) seats will be done on the basis of marks obtained in NTA NEET 2020. Therefore, the candidates desirous of admission to AIIMS and JIPMER institutes will be required to fill NEET application form 2020 before the due date. With this, the volume of registration is expected to jump in NEET academic session 2020-21, grabbing the seats of 76,928 MBBS and 26,949 BDS seats available in 532 medical and 313 dental colleges across India. Correction into the form details during NEET 2020 Registration
Should there be any disturbance in the NEET 2020 application form, the authority will open a correction window in the second week of January. Medical students can edit / erase / change predefined fields within the last date.
